Partner FAQ

Questions before you offer the service

Can we offer the service through our brand?
Yes. You own the customer relationship, offer and price. MACH runs the approved China-origin shipment behind your brand. The selected carrier, importer of record and licensed customs broker remain accurately identified wherever official documents require them.
How does the first shipment work?
Send us one live China-origin shipment with the supplier location, cargo, timing, destination and receiving requirements. MACH returns a partner-ready quote, routing recommendation, milestones and document requirements. You decide whether to present it to your customer.
How do you protect our customer relationship?
You retain the customer relationship, customer-facing price and account control. Protected accounts and permitted communication are documented before work begins. MACH does not independently market, quote or sell to protected accounts.
What agreement do we sign?
We use a partner agreement covering responsibilities, account protection, confidentiality, payment, claims and termination. Each shipment is then confirmed through a shipment-specific quote with its route, pricing, assumptions and exclusions. Final terms are agreed before work begins.
How does payment work?
Payment terms are confirmed for each approved shipment. Initial shipments may require prepayment or other agreed funding before booking. Duties, inspections, storage, demurrage and special handling are identified separately when applicable.
What shipment visibility do we receive?
MACH provides milestone updates from factory pickup through U.S. warehouse delivery, including pickup confirmation, export and departure, arrival, U.S. entry status, delivery scheduling, ETA changes and proof of delivery. Shipment issues come through one accountable MACH contact, so your team can keep the customer informed.
Can we use our existing customs broker?
Yes, when the broker handoff, document flow, arrival notice, responsibilities and timing are confirmed before the freight moves. MACH checks commercial-document presence and consistency before the handoff; the importer and licensed customs broker make final classification and entry decisions.
Does MACH integrate directly with our WMS?
No new software or direct WMS integration is required to start. MACH prepares files and labels to the partner's supplied specifications. Any direct system integration requires separate technical confirmation and scoping.
What shipment sizes, modes and lanes fit?
There is no fixed carton or pallet minimum. MACH reviews air or ocean options against the supplier location, cargo, timing, destination and receiving requirements. If courier, customer-arranged freight or another path is the better answer, MACH will say so before quoting.
Do we receive a rate sheet or a shipment quote?
Initial shipments are quoted individually because origin charges, cargo, mode, destination and receiving requirements change the cost. For a repeat lane with stable specifications, MACH can evaluate a documented rate structure with a defined validity period and stated exclusions.
How are cargo insurance and claims handled?
For eligible cargo, MACH arranges shipment-specific coverage during quote review and confirms the premium, limits and exclusions in writing before departure. If loss or damage occurs, MACH manages the partner-side document and communication workflow with the carrier, insurer and other responsible parties. Coverage and claim payment follow the written policy and applicable terms.
Can MACH handle batteries or regulated cargo?
Potentially, after separate review of the exact cargo, documents, packaging, provider and carrier acceptance. Complex regulated cargo is not part of the default offer.
